Default Inguinal Hernia

Consulting with a chap named Mr Paul Ah-Tye in a fortnight about a hernia the GP suggests needs attention. Probably surgical repair. Although the thing is quite symptom free except for the lump in the groin when standing.

Anyone had such a procedure? How did it go regards recovery time and post-op complications, if any?

And if the named surgeon did a repair for you, were you happy with the repair and post operatively?

Feel free to PM me if your comments are at all critical, I promise I have no contact with this chap yet and any comments go no further than me.

Thanks in advance.

Cheers
