I was looking at an AU2 Ute today, (parked for sale, no owner around).
It has a logo on the back saying XLS Sports. Is this a Ford model or someone playing around? It is a V8 5 slot, looks in very good condition, not sure of Ks. It has a hard tub cover that is vinyl covered, not painted. Looks good inside that you can see through tint, asking 10.5K. Does this sound genuine and OK for price? Ive had F100s and 4WD Utes before and have not looked at Falcon Utes at all. Also looking at a BA Marlin 6, but that's been dragging on, the AU looks better.

Very rare combination in non-XR guise. With that being said I believe it's overpriced. I know of a Black AU2 XR8 5 speed ute going for 12k in v.good condition.
I'd aim for around 7k.

The XLS was basically a XR without the XR front end, and the Hi-Po engine.

SD1800, I see you are in Sydney. Your cars there seem to be 2k to 3k cheaper than here in Vic Country, looking at internet for sales.
I will check the Ute out more closely when we can find the owner. Will post a pic if you are interested, (next week when we are back in town to get it) Thank you both for responding

It has 227K on it. Motor is rattly.
And price is not negotiable. It will sit there for a long time I think. Thanks for info Nev
