Default New Focus Price...

Just wondering if anyone has purchased an SR Auto hatch the last few weeks and what deal you got...

We are thinking about getting mum one but don't want to spend more then $20,000.

I have found a dealer that will do it for $20,000 but I was wondering if there was any gold left in the bucket. Fanx :alien2:

I think you'd probably struggle to find a better deal, considering the extra price the auto attracts. You might be able to get some small things like mats and all that thrown in, or maybe cruise control, but I'd be suprised if they gave you another grand or two off.

Good luck with it!

Tim

I'm with Tim, sounds sweet to me. An auto 5 door SR for $20k driveaway... that's less than a Fiesta 5 door auto driveaway before discounting which means it's still pretty damn close!!!!!!! You can't go wrong with $20k if that's what you've been offered.

What have they got to choose from? Machine Silver is your popular classic, Colorado Red always looks good, Tonic is different but nice and clean and white is best left on the lot! Boring!

Runout...

New CL is $23,500 on the road in auto... and thats with some serious fleet discount.

Dont think we are going to get a Focus now as there are none left in SR sedan in QLD... that therefore makes the above price no longer available. Looking at a new Corolla instead.

They don't seem to be able to get rid of the old model here in SA. Some dealers are still advertising over 10 left!

An SR is just a CL with air con, 15 inch alloys, and SR badges IIRC.

A big set of aftermarket 18 inch rims will solve that problem, buy an auto CL and fit some real rims to it!

Dont Bother with a Corolla. Might be cheap. But they are really not good cars. they sell well on past reputation alone. I have had mine for 3 years. Uses almost as much fuel as a 6cylinder Falcon. 10.2l/100km over 64,000km :( And handles like a soggy P.O.S.

Would suggest that you get the Focus.

I cant wait til October... Focii here I come...
