Default Checkout my ICED Focus!

Hey gang. I just "ICED" my Focus today using Turtle Wax Ice polish. Its $32 bucks from BigW and comes with foam applicator pad and microfibre buffing towel.

I've only ever used Polyglaze Glide-On glaze to keep the shine on my previous car and my Focus but it has disappeared off the shelves at all the retailers recently so I gave Turtle Wax Ice a go.

It goes on easy and comes off just as easy as well. No hard buffing just wipe off with terry cloth or micro fibre towel. Look at the results.

You can also use it on rubber and plastic trims. No white residue!

Its nearly two years old. August 2005 built.

It took about 40 minutes. The car was already clean but I took it to the car wash which is 500m away and gave it a quick rinse. Dried it. Applied the ICE, let it dry for 15 minutes and then wipe off.

Its very quick and effortless product.

It costs $32. I bought it from BigW. Comes with foam applicator pad and microfibre towel. I reckon the bottle will last a whole year of polishing. Its a labor of love anyways! Checkout the website.http://www.turtlewax.com/main.taf?p=2,1,1,1

None that I could tell. Be cautious anyway. I've accidentally wiped some on to the rubber linings near the windows and it hasn't left any sort or effect. If you're asking if it makes it look better? No.

Well after one month of being lazy I finally ICED my Focus. It was so easy to apply and to wipe off. I'm very happy with the result and I think I should take some photo's to show how much of a happy camper I am. Also I was suprised how little of it I used. It's going to last me ages. Best $30 I have spent in a while

I have used that product, it is ok, but i think the Meguiars Tech Wax is far better - and also $20 dearer. I used to use the turle on the mazda, until I tried the Meguiars Tech - and it lasts and looks 10x better than the turle stuff... give it a try also!

Nice Ice! I'd love to be able to polish the Focus but the Nature guard & paint protection says polishing is not required though I'm beginning to question that. It comes up nice after a wash but I'm sure it could look way better with a bit of extra detailing.

Stugots, I purchased paint protection on a new car I had about 5 years ago. One day when it was about 2 years old I took it to the car wash. The guy there called me over while he was cleaning my car and told me it needed polishing as the paint was oxidising. He was right, so I took it home and polished it and it looked great.
Moral of the story: I will never waste money on 'paint protection' again.
Btw, I just bought some ICE, will use it next weekend, $29 from BigW. KMart were asking $46 for the same product!

Your Fiesta needed alot more than that - muhahaha.

I was totally expecting a different kind of ICE, the In Car Entertainment type. All the cars look good in here though, well done. Shiny cars.
