Default Brake Upgrade

I own a 2012 Focus Titanium Hatch that has now just ticked over 20,000 km's and the front brake pads already need replacing. My rotors could also do with being machined, however considering the cost of machining the rotors it actually will be better to buy new upgraded rotors.

I'm looking at QFM pads and DBA or RDA rotors (not sure who makes the better brakes). Both the pads and rotors should be a nice upgrade too and hopefully the pads don't produce as much dust as the stock pads.

With the above in mind, I'm not sure if I would want the QFM Super X pads or if I should fork out extra for the HPX pads. Additionally I'm not 100% sure if I should just get the standard rotors or if I should get the DBA T2 or RDA equivalent (not 100% sure about RDA parts).

Finally I'm not actually sure of the size of the front rotors. I believe they are either 278mm or 300mm. I saw the technical specs on this site that state 300mm for front but these specs appear to be for the older Focus models. I know I can measure the rotors but I would need to take one of the wheels off to do it properly. I thought I would ask here first if someone might know before getting my hands dirty.

So can anyone here advise me of the rotor size and what options to choose for my front brake pad and rotor upgrade

Contact one of the site sponsors - Race Brakes Sydney. Even though I have not personally dealt with them (have not had the need to - yet) from what I read they are really helpful.

DBA T2 and QFM HPX is what I'm running on my diesel Sport. The Diesels have the larger diameter rotors from memory.

Excellent combo, handles spirited driving well and you will LOVE the lack of brake dust.

Have had a good run with them. Competitive pricing and super friendly/helpful.

Racebrakes are also good have used them also.

I thought the same thing too, until I actually took the Tyre off and measured the rotors. I definitely have 300mm front rotors on my petrol titanium hatch.

Thanks everyone for the recommendations. I didnt end up calling Race Brakes but I will keep them in mind for the future.

I did end up purchasing from GSL Rally Sport here in Brisbane as I actually required a local store to purchase items from as I can't really receive such large items in the mail.
