Default XY GTHO for sale

https://www.australianmusclecarsales...-phase3-244597.

Beautiful car, but would you pay $ 750,000+ for a car with a non-genuine motor?

Very nice but to answer the question, NO.

I like this statement.............A true survivor, the GTHO made it's way to the mainland and has spent time in Queensland (1984-1988), The Northern Territory (1988-1989), Victoria (1989-2004) and eventually with the current owner also located in Victoria over the past 17 years. During his custodianship, the HO has been sparingly used and was freshened up using the skills of GTHO expert Mr. Frank Portelli from Melbourne. The car was resprayed and retrimmed during this time.

My understanding of a survivor is good condition, untouched.

I think XY GT's are nice but not $750000 nice, If I had $750000 to spend on a car, I would rather go buy a new Lamborghini Hurracan and use the other $350000 to pay for the fuel

People arnt buying these to drive, it's seen as an investment.
As opposed to a late model Lamborghini, where it is to drive, and not an investment.

I would assume a fair amount of the remaining Phase 3's wouldn't have the original motor, it's a shame as these cars were built to be driven not to be museum pieces, saying that if I had money to burn a Phase 3 would be on my bucket list

Haha, I agree, but I think what they mean is that after what the poor old girl has been through it's managed to survive relatively in tact, (minus it's heart, the engine).
Definitely not a candidate for Survivor Car magazine.

one of the poorest presented phase 3s ive seen for ages. ignore the blurb the work done on it leaves a lot to be desired let alone the many shades of green on the car itself. i almost threw up seeing the difference of the underside of the bonnet compared to the rest of the car let alone the many things wrong with it from a concourse point of view if you are looking to spend 750k. i wouldnt go near it at half the price. 750k will get you a turn key ph3 with a matching nos motor and log books with a bit of luck. rant over!
