Hi All,
How much work is involved in changing buggered engine mounts in an 88 laser? As it is now, the engine is sitting on the cross-member, although its not effecting the driving of the car. Besides using an engine hoist, is it a difficult job? I guess once undone, the new rubbers slot in and get bolted back up? Ive been told by a mechanic they need changing, but his quote was ridiculous. : I was thinking about getting some from a wreckers, or possbily brand new ones, and doing it myself. Any input would be great!! Cheers!! |
