Default Anyone had damage caused by wind storm?

As the title says...

Half of our outside covering was just ripped apart about an hour ago. Completely ripped off the bracing. The screws were ripped out with the timber. My other half and I spent about 40 minutes cutting the rest of it away before it did anymore damage. This is not something I needed to happen right now that's for sure. I'm that upset that I can't even show the anger - does that make sense?! I think I may be in shock. Now may be the time to build a carport slash garage :(

I know there was quite some hail damage on the Central Coast. I should be thankful we didn't get that - I think I'd lose it if the car's were damaged.

there was a huge hail storm out where I live in the riverina, there really wasnt a shed left standing. No builder around would have built a shed to withstand that sort of force, because no-one would expect it to happen.

Sorry to hear about the house AU Fairmont -S-...

Took the missus to work this morning at 5.30 am, and there alot of streets around heidelberg with fallen down trees and debris on the road, the SES were out and it was absolutely pouring down. Those guys put up with some nasty weather conditions when they go out to help people

Ha, I had great fun getting to work this morning. I was redirected a few times because of road closures etc. Saw a BA falcon side ways in some bushes off the hume fwy near my work. Had to negotiate two flooded roads (bit cautious with my car being lowered). I just hope that it doesnt rain too much today, because the only road leaving work (one of the flooded roads I had to negotiate this morning) probably wont take much more.

i was pretty impressed that the trampoline over the road had been blown 70m, and in the processed "jumped" one fence and got caught on the second fence. The trampoline frame is bloody mangled now to : Mad stuff!

The roads don't get flooded over much in the country, so work as normal.....damn
