I'm trying to find a left hand outer tailight assembly for a MD Titanium hatch. The reason is because the two attachment studs have broken away from the plastic on the back of the light assembly. I had noticed a larger gap between the light and the bodywork for some time. Their is no evidence of any damage to the tailight on the extrrnal surfaces. My theory is that the two retaining studs may have been over tightened during manufacturing. The genuine Ford part is outrageously overpriced at $600+
Any information about aftermarket spares would be appreciated. Best regards, Robert Fletcher |

What month and year as they are different before or after 5/2015 and then there are two different ones for vehicles built after 2/2019.

Had a look online. B#$$# hell, they are expensive!
Lots of Chinese aftermarket. I have MC, and the range of available used parts is much bigger. See if you can get onto a wrecker who is networked. I guess they still do that. Good luck.

Thanks to you all for your replies. Because the tailight is undamaged externally, I am going to attempt a repair to the two broken plastic lugs where the studs attach. Wish me luck.

If it’s ABS or PMMA housing you can use a white two part adhesive sold for spa pressure pipe repairs. Weld-On 810. It’s dear as poison but does it stick!
