Default Toyota buying suckers

Anyone in Melbourne will know that all the Toyota dealers are having a massive sale over the next two days. All their hail damaged stock is being sold for up to $10,000 less than RRP.

What they don't know is they will have to spend over $10 on fixing them, as no insurer will go near them...

Ha ha, suckers!!

Stay tuned to ACA/TT for all these upset Toyota owners.

It would be worth buying if you didnt care about the damage , a commercial ute or van with a few dimples would not to bad at all.

what about third party wayne, ie to cover yourself in the event of an accident....wouldnt care about getting it repaired in an accident but would want to be able to cover the merc that i hit lol
often thought a cheap 4by with hail damage would be financially a good move as it wouldnt matter about getting a few dings and scratches offroad.......

Depends if I paid $20,000 for a hail damaged car i would still want to insure it for $20,000 incase of an accident that was my fault.

Exactly.
If you finance, you will need full comp.

IMO, you'd be crazy owning a $20k car and only TFT policy.

Not to sure about that , If you disclose the damage .
I was able to insure my rig with a different company when it was damaged
they sent out a assessor took photos of the damage and then they insured me.

A question asked when taking out a policy.
"Is the vehicle free from damage?"

I don't know of an insurer that will full comp a car with old damage.
