Ring AWC - they do both the installation and painting if you want. To get the lot done should be around a grand (maybe less). Only way to know for sure is to ring them. Adam and Mark are both great to deal with.

Agreed.

I got my kit painted though AWC ... and had them fit it for me ... extremely happy with the results.

I think Adam recommends Mick Webb SVO in Victoria for getting kits painted, etc.

Buy the kit raw, get someone local to do the paint work so they can colour match it.

...and I've got the Pursuit lipped XR bar which has a similar bottom shape with the Rebel kit and it's fine.

ummmm ... not silly at all ... but what makes it look good is choosing the right set of wheels and getting your suspension just right.

In my opinion the complete XR50 kit matches alot better then the Rebel rear and sides and XR50 front.. but the Rebel rear/sides is better than the TE50 rear/sides.
Although still looking very nice with XR50 front and rebel sides.. The TE50 sides and front just match better I think..
I think if you want the rebel kit, go for the pursuit lip, if you want the XR50 bar get the rest of the XR50 kit..
Like look at buckies car complete XR50 kit, that machine would have to be one of if not the best looking AU on this forum.
DeathXR's falcon is right up there aswell with his rebel kit and pursuit lip, its also one of the best looking cars on here.

the pursuit lip is almost identical in shape and depth at the sides as what the XR50 bar is, so would line up with the side skirts just as much as each other.

2002auxr6, give me a call on (02)9668 9834 tomorrow and we can organise something, best bet would be sending the front to you and then you can organise fitting and painting.

cheers

Ok, got the look of it all sorted! Thanks for the few extra pics guys. It looks best in black IMO followed closely by Meteorite.

Amazing what a bit of moulded plastic can do for the look of a car!

Does the bar look out of place without the T3 sideskirts or rear bar ?

Like how would it go with the series 1 kit ?

I'm very biased, I prefer it to the XR50 bar.
