Default mk1 ck49shell

does anyone know the difference between a mk1 ck49 and standard mk1 shell all info would be appreciated.

They were basically export shells with trailing arm brackets.


All Aust spec Escorts were "export" shells so they had the strengthened strut towers, but no trailing arm brackets. There are a few minor difference btwn certain RS models ie Mexico, RS1600, Twin cam such as the position on the battery tray, speedo cable brackets etc, but nothing major that can't be replicated simply.
