Default Im Back From England.......what did i miss??

Well, i got back from my 5 week holiday in England this morning at 6:00am. Had a great time!! Took 1000's of photos. When i've sorted through them i'll put up a thread in the photo section.
I was at Croft for the BTCC and at Silverstone for a historic meet. Saw everything from a Ferrari Enzo to a HQ Holden. Just round every bend is an Aston Martin. I had the pleasure of standing on the racetrack at Silverstone when the Astin Martin Team were practicing their pit stops. They’d change the tyres then the car would set off smoking the tyres, then do a flick spin and come roaring past me at full tilt, do another flick spin, come back down into the pit bay where the team would change the tyres. They did this the car blew something at smoke started coming out the back. Oops! But yeh, I had a blast.

Here are just a couple of photos. I’ll make a photo thread after I sort through them.

How'd'you find driving over there, with speed cameras everywhere and everthang? And the little narrow wandering B roads leading to all sorts of interesting places?

Yeh, we did the north. We stayed at Chester, York & Whitby. Other places we stayed were Oswestry, Stratford-upon-Avon, Bath, Ilfracombe, Torquay & Milton Keynes just down the road to the Astin Martin factory
I've missed places in that list because I can remember :

Well, I wasn't allowed to drive the hire car because im under 25 it would cost heaps so mum and dad did all the driving and i did the navigating. There were many times I thought I was going to die : . B and C roads take you to the nicest places but the roads are so narrow with hedges 8feet high on both sides of the road. And god help you if there is something coming the other way :

We’d been driving for about a week and I sad to dad, “There are heaps of speed cameras hey dad?!”. Dad looks at me, “Is there??”. “Oh yes dad, there is”. So, I don’t know when the tickets will start arriving :

I was in London a couple of months ago and I stayed with my Uncle and Auntie. I also love it there but there is no way I would go there in winter!
I think the speed cameras work different over there then here from what I was told. On the large motorways if the electronic speed limit display is operating and has a speed limit flashing then the speed cameras up ahead will be operating but if the speed limit display is off then so are the cameras.
But in saying that there are speed cameras in suburban streets which are on 24-7.
