Default 1st Concert you went to?

Was listening to the first record I bought and remembered the first
concert I went to - Santana 1976 at Festival Hall in Melbourne.
I was thirteen and my folks let me go with an older family friend
just because they sang in Spanish (which I am).
Same year - AC/DC at the Preston Town Hall, got so ****ed my old man
let me sleep at the front door, outside, till the next morning.

So... what was yours?

Mine was The red hot chili peppers, papa roach and some other band a few years back in sydney. Since then, I have seen the Tea Party, Sunk Loto, Evermore, KoRn, Fear Factory and Static X. Korn were my favourite, Fear Factory the best.

My First Big concert was U2 in 1984 at the glasshouse. AWESOME! saw them again for the Love comes to town tour. Molly stood on my GF's handbag and copped an ear bashing from me when he just pushed his way past. He actually apologised.
havent been able to budget for their later tours....

It was a Big Day Out at the showgrounds. Can't remember what year, but I recall seeing Fear Factory and The Offspring. Could've been '97.

Most recent concert was Pearl Jam last week and the next one is G3 next Saturday.

Santana was one of my first too but I think it was around '80. It was the first concert (other than the opening concert) at Sydney Entertainment Centre. The bouncers didn't know what to do and everyone charged down onto the main floor. Incredible concert. I've seen them another 3 times since.
The other first "main" concert I was at was probably Cold Chisel just before they started to hit mainstream. I saw it for free. Saw them many many times since.
Other than that I think "concert" would have been pub bands.
