Default 260 invasion PT II !

There is another 260 invasion being planned for the next two weeks, venue TBA, please post expressions of interest here.

Its a great idea for the guys who haven't done much to their rides, as they can see a demonstration of a variety of product.

ive given Ronny the mail - cant run my 13.40's friday without the beast, and racing the applause does NOT turn me on................

Some action is better than none.

Any chance of the venue being WSIDW.

Lee, I dont see why it cant happen - if there are enough of us out there, interstate trips shouldn't be a problem if planned properley.

Might have to bring the laptop up and look at that nice MKII of yours......

onya Deano, stop getting launch tips off victor bray........

Manual 260

Brad XR8888
Chris ORSMXR (pending driveline repairs)
Dean ACEXR8
Kev KEV XR8 UTE

Hey Rodderz, Jeff, are you guys coming or what??

Auto 260

Dave SLY XR8
Chris (me, pending repairs)
Im leaving the door open for Mark XRFPV8, id love him to come down, as his car has been the benchmark for so long, and is right in the sharp end of this field as far as performance goes

Anyone else??

We'll do it at calder next week, race off a Pro tree, and a round robin type deal that will ensure most guys people want to see race together will get the chance to, and will get us in shape with reaction times for the Forums drag day.

This is not a breakaway comp. We will put our names on the calder list as per usual, and when we scruitineer we will ride down the staging lanes together. Brad XR8888 will be over from adelaide, so it will be a great chance to introduce him to calder, and take some great video and stills.

Mate

I saw your video skills first hand last night Chris.....you seem to have a habit of filming cars doing clutches & CV's so if you don't mind leave the camera at home mate _

It was different to watch hats for sure. He had never driven the ute that hard before. He has driven it a couple of time but only taking it easy.
Put him in his AU and its a different story. He ran a 14.4 with a 220 AU XR8. It has a K&N filter and thats it.

Hmmm, I dont know if other people would find it that funny. If they did I would need the money for the new gearbox and clutch. LOL
