Default Power windows that go up when you lock the car

I remember a while ago someone was installing a part from jaycar that allows you to make your windows shut when you lock your car, just wondering if that person is still on...

There was an alarm system by a company called "Prestige" that had this options.

There is a very good reason why new cars have auto down but not up...kids being on of them.

Yeah I had a feeling that this could be kind of dangerous, just in case there is something in the way when the windows start automatically closing. Good idea however, Ive seen it on a few cars before.

I thought power windows had a fail safe, that when the torque required to raise or lower the glass exceeded a certain amount it stopped and reversed, thus allowing for auto up and down to be utilsed - stupid kids or not.

Mongoose Car Alarms have it as well
www.mongoose.com.au then click vehicle acccessories
Part Number: MPW4000
POWER WINDOW LIFTER
For vehicles with electric windows, the MPW4000 will automatically close 4 windows when arming the alarm system by remote control.

no need to remove door skins just the power button switches in the middle of the car and the dash surround so you can get to the BEM.. i hide the unit under the cd player.. easy as i think i have a PDF file that i stole from another site here somewhere that makes it really easy.... just remember to test the wires before you start cutting

and i ran a thick wire straight from the battery but that was mainly to put a relay on it connected to the lighter plug for some of my other gauges that is where i got my direct connection from..
