how do you put in electric fuel door release?

you need a different door, and the solinoid plus the button in the car. it will all hook up to ur existing loom.

Easy to do.
The wiring for the switch and solenoid is already there.
Simply get a fuel door switch, really cheap from a wrecker, not so cheap but easily found on ebay. Remove the dual switch panel to the right of the steering wheel. Wiring is there, just pop out the black switch cover and click the switch in place.
The solenoid requires you to remove the left hand lining if the boot. One or two screws out and solenoid in, not much more than that. It is pretty clear once it's in front of you.
The door requires a different catch to the manual version. It is just a couple of screws at the hinge that you need to remove to change the door over.
I did the same thing to my EBII wagon. I have also put in an ED Fairmont instrument cluster and EL Fairmont wheels. I have also added the clock. All necessary wiring is there. Simple additions, big change to the car. Also did the rings and head.
