Good luck with finding your car .. I really do hope you get it back in great condition..

I don't understand what mentality people have that think they are allowed to take what is not theirs...

Good luck and I'll keep my eye's open for it.

I am working in the Northcote & Thornbury area until the end of the week so I will definately keep my eyes open.

It's a bloody low act stealing another persons possession, no matter what it is. I hope karma bites them/him/her/whoever it was, in the a** and hard! :

Yeah i know how you feel. Had my XF stolen 3 days after i bought it. Got stolen from my work. Car was found 1 week later in a normal street as some overnight Joyrider stole it. Car was fine except the gearbox was thrash out. Had it towed home.

So give it some time!

Keep your hopes up mate!

My parents live in Clifton Hill and we have had roughly 10 cars stolen from the front of the house over 10 years. Every single car was found within a week basically unscathed other than butchered ignition barrels(except one, which had some panel damage and motor/gearbox blown).

1 car was stolen in broad daylight and was returned the next morning completely untouched (other than ignition barrel). They even left roughly $200 of gold coins visible in the console and ashtray, left the boxes of alcahol that were in the car and even left the valauable antiques inside!

So as I say, just keep your hopes up, you never know!

Thanks everyone for trying to help out, but we found the car last night in a stadium carpark, the idiots took the rims and the stereo and everything in the boot is all gone. im surprised nothing was broken and everything was still in place other than what i mentioned, and they even decided to leave a set of stock 14's on it.

the motor was just rebuilt 2 weeks ago, with oversized ACL race pistons (flat tops), 200ci rods, port polished head. and its booked in for a dyno tune tomorow, its been back on the road for only 2 days now.

its a big relief the car is back after spending almost $2000 in the last month (on the motor and other bits), and the pigs got a good set of tyres on those rims that we just bought 2 weeks ago too.

So just keep an eye out for any ROH RT 17" rims for sale.

And thanks again everyone.

Good news to hear the car is back. Pity about the rims / stereo etc. Hope these bastards get caught. What is the security system like in your car?
