At this stage it looks like this...

Saturday Showers becoming isolated and contracting to the coast. Cool to cold with fresh west to northwest winds.
Have to see what happens.

100% correct. I went to a Pier 35 photoshoot tonight with a few Beastclub cars. We were there for 20 minutes talking, and 2 police cars roll up. 4 get out, and walk over.. We were doing nothing but talk. The spokesman said "quote" We know why your here, and you all have 2 minutes to vacate or defect notices will be handed out." WTF... He had no idea why we were there, he never bloody asked. I knew there were a few cars that would fail a defect test, so I said nothing, and left.

So much for freedom, and the right stand and talk.

I won't be going with these guys again, though they did nothing while we were there. But I don't need the harassment I left behind 20 years ago.

I felt my freedom was violated tonight, and though I am pro Police, this was unjust. We were not even asked anything, just told to go.

Well i went on the Beast club cruise last night and was very impressed at the behavior of all of the attending members of this cruise. It was very very well organised no stupid behavior 99% of people were no hassle at all the other 1% were delt with, by the police. There presence was very good, The police escorted the cruise at most meet points holding up the traffic so we could all cruise as a group. By doing this most people got along really well with everyone no stupid stuff was done. Fantastic cruise and meet some nice bokes too.

Tristan

ORSMT - Just a bit of a fact for you that peir meet as im sure you know had NOTHING whats so ever to do with us, the tmu actually turned up because the "guy" who organised this held one previously at the same location and the people that came down decided to do burnouts, so b4 you go spreading something about my club that is compleatly untrue look at the facts first. it was posted as a unofficiial event on our forums and if the organiser choose not to do the right thing and organise the event the right way thats his problem, not mine, or beastclubs

Anyways we actually do call police, i call them personally weeks b4 our events take place and organise the supervision, we are NOT a club about hooning and being a open club we can not keep people out who alreaddy have defects on their cars, we do the right thing by all the people we invite out to our events, we give out arrive alive booklets and have police supervision coz we are more about safty than huge numbers and bad organisation.

Thanks for coming to those who did, regardless of if you liked it or not we take any kind of feedback on as people are free to review how they like. The official count from the night was 310+, pretty good for grad final ngiht and the police helped us run things even smoother, sorry if by chance anyone didnt get a map, we sold out due to not expecting as many as we got.

Thanks again to all who came

lt's ok Gammagrl l have been on many a cruise with you and have been a registered member on your forum too for the past 3 years, and about guidelines anybody can agree to them but when out on a event you can do anything you want with no action takin to the member.....Also l am glad to see that the police now help out with the cruises not disrupt them as at the end of the day everybody just wants to show of their rides......and go for a cruise....

Cheers Chris

Firstly, I am spreading nothing. I never said it was an officially sanctioned event. I was merely venting my opinion. Secondly, that guy you speak of is my Son. And I went along out of curiosity. I have met a few Beastclub members, and they were top folk. If you have taken offence, then you have my apology. From all reports the cruise was a well organised hit. I look forward to #19. Kev.
