Do you use the no lift shift in race mode?

Doesn't need to be in race mode to do this. It's a lot of fun!

Does it take a bit to get used to that?

Yes. For sure. It works over 5000 rpm. Just like getting used to not having to heel toe, it takes a bit to get used to not lifting. Still stuffed it a few times as if you lift and press again, it revs out rather than matches. Easy on straights. Harder to remember whilst drag racing funnily enough.

Can rev-match feature on the 2018+ models be turned off?

I feel proud to have taught myself the heal-toe skill, would feel like cheating to me, at least initially.

It can be turned off in the settings.

The issue with the Mustang Rev matching trying to do it yourself is the accelerator isn't linear enough. Much easier with the BA and FG. The Mustang just feels late or you have to give it more to get the revs to match. It's annoying.
