Default how/why is it so?

thought i'd ask some questions i dont know the answer to?

1) how do they process wallnuts, you can buy walnut halves in large quantities. how do they process them without having broken bits of thell etc embedded into them?

2) what came first the chicken or the egg?

3) if god created the universe where did he come from?

i'm sure you might have some questions too, so why not ask in this thread?

If 7/11 is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, why do they have locks on the doors?

To lock the store when some numbnut robs them - have been in a 711 when this has happened.

When I was in Tasmania I was on this little road with speed humps. The speed limit for the road was posted at 20Km/h, but the suggested speed for the speed humps was 25Km/h. So, do you have to speed up for the humps??

this one is easy to explain.. its like sticky tape.. one side is sticky and the other not.. so when teflon is put onto pans/pots whatever, one side is sticky... and the other not

Haha, i was thinking of some stuff like this today. Why are Jeans called jeans and not something like jean. Because you only have like one of them, but its implied as a multiple object. For example i brought a skirt, i brought a jean. Why is it jeans. Lol

When you send a parcel by a ship, its called cargo, but send it by car and its called a shipment.
Why is a buiiding still called a building once its completed. It shoud be called a Built.

If banks are so worried about security why do they chain the buildings to those stupid little pens?

Because Jeans are made out of a left and right jean. Therefore, they are called Jeans!

Another old one.

If a fly flies, does a bird bird?

And,

Another one from a telly show a while ago - If you try to fail and succeed, which one have you done?

For those who believe in the evolution theory.

Matter cant be created. Everything is made from something already available on earth. If there is truly no god or higher power. How did matter come to exist? It didnt just appear by itself? Or did it always just exist.
