Default Home Brew

gday guys. Ive just pulled dads home brewing kit out from the shed and brought it down to my place. It seems a little primitive but most items seem to be there. One problem, the rubber grommet on the top is dry and cracked. Where can I buy replacement bits for the kit, when I dont need to buy a whole new kit?

Oh also any tips on making good brews or different methods are appreciated as this is the first one im gonna try

home brew is great, u can buy a replacement gromment from any home brew show (im sure melbourne has one as wagga has 2 lol). or even a hardware or trade place would have one that fit.
My advice is make sure everything u use is cleaned properly, dont use to much sugar u will find out why explosions will occur lol. Have fun drinking lol

Look up your local beer shop for the rubbers etc.

For newbies

Use nappysan or similar to wash everthing.

Buy a tin of what you think you would like from Big w coles or woolies

Follow the instructions.

wait two weeks.

wash your bottles in nappy san, don't worry about drying.

Bottle immediately, add sugar, cap.

Wait two weeks and pop a great home brew. It's that easy.
