Default Vic 6 hour 07

Hi Guys,

It's baaaaaack.......................................

After a very exciting first Victorian 6 Hour Regularity Relay in 2006 the event is back again in 2007. This is the most exciting new event in the Nation for Club based competitors.

The event will again be conducted at Australia's premier race track - Phillip Island Grand Prix Circuit and will be held on the weekend of the 29th and 30th September, 2006.

What do I need?
Again this year, you only require a CAMS L2S, L2SJ or above license. This allows grass roots motor sport competitors a chance to sample what higher level motor sport is all about without the added inherent risks or costs. Vehicle requirements are that of a sprint, so you don't need a fully race prepared log booked car. Most cars are eligible and only require the normal safety equipment needed at a sprint event, however all cars need a racing style harness and open cars or cars on racing tyres need a CAMS complying roll cage.

What is the cost?
The entry fee for 2007 will be$1450 per team (approx $242.00 per driver for a team of 6 drivers) But this year the entry fee will include the use one garage for the weekend.
Your entry gives competitors most of Saturday for practice and strategy planning followed by 6 hours of competition on the Sunday.
All members of CAMS affiliated car clubs are encouraged to consider being involved in some way. Form a team, be a driver, team manager, pit crew, timing, help as a track official or simply come to watch and support your favorite team.

Lemm know who is in - I sent an email earlier today and already have quite a few - I reckon we can almost field two teams.......................
