Thanks for the heads up.
"May contain traces of nuts", well what else would it have in the packet?
But then I suppose these days you have to have that warning because "Oh, but there was no warning saying it may contain nuts in my packet of cashews, and I had a reaction".

Much like "Caution, this clothes iron may be hot when plugged in to an electrical outlet. This heat may burn or injure"

My favourite was the box of gun nails that had a “best before” date on it.

Presumably it applied to the included propellant cartridges but not quite clear.

Don't laugh... I was browsing FB marketplace and came across a chap selling large boxes of nappies for $3 each.

Jumped in the car and grabbed 2 just to try them out.

Went back the next week and filled up the car, got 20 boxes for the price of $1.50 a box. As in, boxes of 72 nappies.

When I asked why so cheap.... they were expired.

Never seen or heard of the brand, don't care. My 2yr old doesn't seem to care either and they are equally as good as Huggies.

I use them with the large 10kg box of 'expired' Japanese baby wipes I scored for free, also from FB marketplace.

All jokes aside, the 'may contain traces of nuts' warning is technically correct. Cashews aren't actually a true nut. They're a seed within a fruit which has to be stripped away to expose the cashew. This is presumably why the little buggers are so expensive!
