Default EBGLT Dyno'd.

Ok guys here it is.
Took the car down to Hallam performance today with Paul fom CVE. First run was not so good it ran 122rwkw which I was pretty disapointed and a little worried I must admit.

Paul soon jumped out of the car and said you have a vaccuum leak which alternately means boost leak. So I got up under the and worked my wonders turned out that there where a few minor leaks here and there. Out of the tree at the back of the inlet manifold.

Sliding across under the engine I had a look at the wastegate which look good until I touched the the srcew which holds the vaccuum hosing which controls my boost level. It was loose as so after hunting around hallam performance for 10 mins we found some washers that would fit however are on temporary as I need better ones that need to be a little smaller and tighter around the thread.

Here is the last Dyno for the day.

As you can see 163.6rwkw was acheived at only 3psi which is insane im over the moon about it.
Cant wait till I get a few little things here and there sorted out and I can wynd in a bit more boost. hehe. :

Congrats, thats an awsome effort for only 3psi. Can't wait to see what it does with a bit more boost.

a low boost setup would make a very nice car to drive. Wind it up to 5-6lb and would be a fantastic daily power plant. As it sits it would be 1000x more tractable than a 164rwkw N/A car. Nice work!

Awesome work shaun, thats more power at the wheels than mine has at the flywheel from factory! I bet it pulls hard now.

Mark dont do that, supercharge the LTD and dont waste money on the EB!

To bad the 40rwkw gain cost me $4500 lol

Otherwise I think I have a lot to look forward to 163.6rwkw was gained with a very restrictive exhaust, boost leak, standard fuel standard motor, standard ECU and lots of little things here and there that are all going to get the car running better and increase power I owe a huge thanks to Paul from CVE (V8Capri) as he has alot to do with the car seeing these kind of dyno figures.

What is really impressive is that is the same stock engine, stock ecu and stock injectors.
Once you sort all the niggly bits, we can put some extra fuel in it, should be very good.

Good stuff mate.

163 is impressive on 3 psi. What was your exhaust when it was tuned? You said it was restrictive but I thought you got it done today?

I made 114rwkw on 3 psi with the standard exhaust and a wolf back in the day so you are doing very well.

That is incredible pwr increase from only 109rwkw to 163.6rwkw and only 3psi. Well done Shaun it has come a long way and you have done a lot of mods in the last few months too. Congradulations buddy. It makes me half tempted to do the same to the EB now.

Braden its just a thought for now I don't know if I will do it yet but I have plans to supercharge the LTD anyway in the next year or so. Its funny how everyone love the LTD lol. Its great but I like to EB more in the way of racing etc and the LTD as a Weekender cruiser and show car

Wayne told me today on the way to FDC, couldnt believe it. Thats awesome power man, at such low boost! Will go hard when its boosted. Are you planning on changing the motor any time soon? Sorry if Ive missed that part, just skimmed through this thread..

Must go pretty well but! Good to see it all up and running.
