Default JMM Extractors

Anybody have any pics of JMM extractors on their cars.
I am going to get a set mail order but would like to see them first.

Go the pacemakers. The blue looks much better that the black, and the sound is better. I've heard JMM headers on an E-Series and it's the worst sound I've ever heard. Not sure about the AU

The sound would be more dependent on the type of mufflers you run plus the size of the chrome tip & how far it exits the body can sound different with cars running the same exh system

My sound on my AU VCT changed a lot with a hotdog fitted to the rear a deeper louder sound. I run Pacemaker 4499 21/2 pipes with a redback muffler & hot dog on the rear

pacies go 6 into three into one small primaries fairly short secondaries. JMM race series go 6 into two into one small primaries long secondaries.

Sounds similar to mine, except I run the High Flow Cat and redback muffler. I didn't get the hot dog

How does this difference play out in the characteristics of the extractors?

More/less top end, one better in town driving, etc, etc.

Yes, for the JMM race series. But Pacies have better all over torque than stock manifold, so the cheaper paccies are a good compromise for an otherwise stock car. The JMMs work better with other mods like cam etc, but are just overkill on stock motor - at least IMO. The pacies I had on the VCT XR6 dropped peak power (by 1 rwkw), but still increased torque by around 10%

From what ive heard/seen the JMM race series headers are the only header that actually gives a peak power gain on a VCT aswell as lots of torque..
ive driven a VCT ute with paccies on it, and it felt alot more resposive than my car with stock exhaust manifold..

I cannot see how it the pacemaker PH4499 could drop 1rwkw on the VCT mtr.
Last time I dyno'd my car at the AU dyno day it pulled 123rwkw with a dirty A/F & a stock Ford rear muffler. Plus other than the Pacemakers and 21/2 pipes and redback middle muffler the car was stock.

I'am gong the dyno the car next sat with the FF day at Hallam again.
This time with 3' intake clean A/f new plugs & hot dog rear muffler to see if there is any improvement

Well you can add JMM street fighters to that list aswell. With my car Dyno'ing 126 With just Streetfighters and exhaust.
