Default LW Diesel P0766 Trans solenoid D

Hello I have a Focus going into limp mode "Transmission limited function" the error is related to solenoid D this was happening approx 10 K ago the fluid was replaced and has been ok until now , I am considering removing the valve body and cleaning I have seen a Mondeo on you tube but it looks pretty tight under the bonnet of the focus , has anyone done this repair?

The answer is to remove the valve body/mechatronics you will need to remove the radiator fan to remove that you will need to remove the bumper and the top radiator support assembly it quite a job , there is a video on youtube that shows removing the fan from the bottom but on my model LW 2011 diesel titanium this was not possible as there was no possibility of pushing it up without removing the radiator support
