So there are two different headlights on Cougar.

From 1/6/1999-31/8/2000 RH F8RZ13008HA LH F8RZ13008JA

From 1/9/2000-2001 RH 1S8Z13008DA LH 1S8Z13008DB

Hope that helps if you need to find what month and year the donor light will come from to see if its right for your car, ie it needs to be after 1/9/2000 to fit your 2001.

Hi Juniper,

Yes both of the Cougar model headlights are interchangeable. I've personally installed 2001 headlights into my 2000 Eibach, which I think look great!

Wild Racer, the Eibach headlight I had is black so doesn't match the other. Also they don't just fit so we had to take out the little plastic grill and move it out a bit, and make a temporary bracket so the bonnet would close.
I did not want to cut my baby just to temporary fit a headlight, as in your link. and I hope to find the right one soon.
But thank you for your help.
