Yeah, I have one.

Sony seems to do everything very well right form the outset, so I bought one when I had a bit of cash to burn. The thing has awesome graphics, easy to use etc, but there's no good games for it! Off to Thailand tomorrow so I'll keep my eye out for anything that might change my mind.

I HAD one. Some pr*cks broke into my house and stole it amongst other items. But yes, it is a fantastic piece of kit.

My brother has one.

It's a neat bit of gear.

Just amazed of what sort of technology, they can cram into such a small device.

I wouldnt be hoping for anything over there for the PSPs, when i was there in february i was looking cos dad was getting me a PSP in singapore soon after i returned. The PSPs wernt cheaper, in fact they were more expensive in some places, and games wernt common on the ground for them, much like here

But i do have one, and they are great, for a while, they lose their gloss after a little while

They shine most when u play games against a mate, at work me and a mate would play top spin via wireless and it was heaps cool. Plus we would share our latest dirty pics and vids from the net lol, Get a 2 gig memory card of ebay and convert ur dvds and store it, much better then buying those little sony movies.

Cheers
Jim

Nah, I've got a Nintendo DS. There just seemed to be a lack of good games for the PSP.

If the admins/coders of AFF wanted to they can make a psp version of this site. I use my psp on the train everyday watching movies converted from dvds i hire. There arnt too many good games though, im waiting for metal gear solid (not acid, thats ****) and a decent car game, although the muscle cars in midnight club III were pretty good.

I love ours. It is usually stuffed into my handbag for when I'm bored.

We also use it on long drives (with ear-piece & car charger), it keeps either F6Tornado and myself occupied when the other is driving.

We've not got into the movies side of it yet, maybe on our driving trip to Melbourne I'll buy a few movies and more games.

Fave games are Medievil (I'm just about to clock this) and Mercury (really addictive and frustrating!), we've also got one of the rally games but I've not played that one yet.

I've always wondered if there is a way to convert your dvd movies to something that allows you to watch it on your psp, screw buying those UMD movies when you already have the dvd.

How do u connect to the internet? can u connect in some other means other than wireless?
What size memory stick would i need to hold a fair amount of songs and converted DVD's? What price would i be looking at? and would it be available on ebay?

Any help would be apreciated thanks

I got a 1 gig Memory Stick off eBay for about $80 including postage from Hong Kong (Mind you it was about 4 months ago so they could be cheaper now) holds heaps of MP3's but unfortunately I got bored with it pretty quickly. I wouldnt mind a new iPod instead and play games on my new PC when I get get up & running. Anyone in the market for one? I can PM a list of games and UMD's I have if anyone is interested.

Great bit of gear, though. Pity there aren't any decent games around for it. Family Guy should be a blast when that comes out.

you need to switch on the wireless device (on the left side of the psp) .. and in the internet options in the psp you fiddle around.. enter all your wireless network information and it should all work
