Exactly what are these type of marker pens called? Do they come from Officewonks or somewhere else?
Would be ideal for labelling parts of the aviaries I have to help tear down. |

Paint pens or paint marker. You get them from auto shops or just general tools shops like Total Tools and Sydney Tools.
I use them on nuts and bolts to see if they have loosened.

why not Sharpie pens, get them many colours although I think not blade

As the marked items may be subject to biosecurity cleaning, solvent ink type markers are probably a better choice than liquid chalk type pens.

I just buy the el-cheapo eBay ones, have used them for years, used to use them in the wrecking yard, if they are in direct sunlight for years they go chalky, I have parts in the shed that were marked 20 years ago and are still as good today as the day I marked them.
We use the Posca pens at work, they will mark fresh paint being solvent based, they also fade the same if left out in the elements Last edited by prktkljokr; 19-11-2023 at 10:20 PM. |

Bunnings has them too. But usually limited to white, bright yellow and black. Sharpie brand. Although I have seen them in a no name brand as well walking past the shelf, but havent had occasion to buy one as yet.
