hows this engine going?
is it in yet?
also with 3.5 gears and a toploader, how many RPM would the engine be doing at 100-110km/h?

Nope 3.5's with 14's. Been in a few cars with same drivetrain, and was recently in a car just like yours with a stroker clev, toppie and 3.5's and was sitting on 3500rpm at 60 MPH. Speedo was correct, within 2 MPH of the GPS Sat Nav.

Mate.... im doing a wedding this weekend then the old 302 is coming out. It will all be done by the end of the month. Damn its taken a while. So i will have a 302 for sale. Rebuilt in 1997, gem engine, 350 holley, extractors, power steer, about 50,000 kays. going damn cheap.

I used Kenco Degreeser, Prepsol, Stinking hot soapy water, and a high pressure water blaster. I love that kenco degreeser, magic stuff.

Looking good.

Can i ask why you used hypetectic pistons? Were you on a strict budget?

Budget at the time was a factor ... although now it really isn't. The guy who did all the machine work (who really knows his clevo's) said hypetectic will do the job fine..... I guess we will have to see hey.

Yeah they will work fine.

To me though, i reckon a couple hundred bucks extra for some forged pistons is worth it for confidence sake.
