Conventional headlamp up to 2002 MY:
The headlamp is equipped with a H4L-50/55W bulb or dipped beam and main beam.
The direction indicator in the bumper has a clear P-21W bulb.

Conventional Headlamp from 2002 MY:
NOTE: When changing a bulb, make certain not to use a conventional H1 or H7 bulb, but a bulb with a special coating, in order to avoid yellowing of the interior of the plastic lens. The front side lamps and the indicators are integral with the headlamp housing. The headlamp has an H7 bulb for dipped beam and an H1 bulb for main beam and headlamp flasher.

Gas discharge headlamps from 2002 MY:
Gas discharge headlamps are available as an option, the dip beam is produced by a 35 Watt gas discharge lamp.

Conventional headlamps 2005 MY:
Low beam H7 55W clear
High beam H1 55W clear
Turn Signal Lamp Bayonet base 21W orange
Side Lamp Glass base 5W clear

High intensity discharge headlamps:
Low beam High intensity discharge lamp 35W clear
High beam H1 55W clear
Turn signal lamp Bayonet base 21W orange
Side lamp Glass base 5W clear

Adaptive front lighting:
Low beam H7 55W clear
High beam H1 55W clear
Turn signal lamp Bayonet base 21W orange
Side lamp Glass base 5W clear

Cheers
Russ

No offence, but your owners manual should be the first point of call for all consumable details for your car, Focus included. Has all oil/fluid and bulb specs for everything, including detilas on how to replace them.

That's cool, no problems at all, just wanted to point out in case we got the "now I've got the bulbs how do I fit them" question, the owners manual hits it all in one!!
