I know it's quite high, but my excuse is that I have to be able to get up steep driveways, believe it or not I've already scraped the front end once.

Stop trying to tempt me.. :P

Yeah mine rides pretty high at the moment too, and I still manage to scrape the front lip on a gutter the other day : . Fortunately not visible, as it was more of a love tap.
Still not gonna stop me getting Eibachs though :

I 'm going to say that it's the best bloody car I've driven in an a long time.My previously traveller was a Ford EL Falcon, which I still enjoy driving.
The Focus TDCI is a great car....Smooth power, Great Handling,Fantastic Torque...I drove from North of Brisbane to Cairns over a couple of days...

I sincerely hope you get one,and love it as much as I do...I really enjoy this car......

I'm new here

I've been looking at purchasing a Focus TDCi for a while now because I travel long distances to work and back everyday, this morning I had the oppotunity to take one for a spin to see if it was the right car for me.

God it goes well, coming from an auto 1.8 Pulsar this thing kills it. There is torque everywhere! I was a bit messy with the clutch but having not owned a manual before I think I did alright. It corners great, ride is good and it is nice and quiet inside. I'm sold.

The car was Pure Silver, just came off the boat. The only thing it needs is a bodykit.

Any questions feel free to ask

hey guys.

new member here. i actually picking my TDCi up monday next week. cant wait! took it out for a spin today and i loved it! OH the Torque!

paid $22k drive away inc my trade in which was like $2k. 07 model, 16,500 kms, pure silver in colour and comes with a safety pack.

as soon as i turned the car on it was reading 5.7l/100.....reset it and took it out for a rather spirited drive and it got to 7l/100 so still not too bad.

ill keep you posted when i get it.

woot!

has anyone upgraded theres to a larger one? would it make any difference in performance?

got 2 more questions:

1: roughly how much boost does it run?

2: does the 2lt TDCi motor use a timing belt or timing chain?
