Default AU XR8 Series 3 220 kw

Guys,

I am chasing an OEM original clutch kit for the 220, Ford mentioned they are obsolete. I am assuming they were originally made by PBR, can anyone confirm.
I don’t won’t a heavy duty clutch, just trying to stick with the original as this is my daily.

Cheers

Yes that is an option as well, I am just trying to see what else is available or possibly finding OEM, but not from Ford. I have tried to ring PBR in Melbourne to confirm if their clutch kits had been used in the AU’s from factory. Their listed contact number appears to be disconnected.

All 5.0L V8 clutches are Genuine Ford made by Valeo Factory fit out of US Cobra Mustangs

PBR is no longer was bought out by Bosch but they never had anything to do with OEM clutches for the 5.0L Windsor - they were all US FoMoCo

Clutch Disc F4ZZ 7550 A

Pressure Plate F3ZZ 7563 A

Thrust Bearing F7ZZ 7548 AA

Pilot Bearing D4DZ 7600 A

Flywheel was a Ford Performance Racing RF-E1ZR6380-A2A

Thanks Dingo, good to know. Unfortunately I brought a kit, see how it goes. It will be fitted Tuesday.

Cheers

Whoops i made a little boo boo (the above clutch disc number is incorrect) - due to lack of Coffee hahahahaha -

Take 2 , i've also added the Ford Engineering ID Numbers for the Clutch Disc, Pressure Plate, Thrust Bearing and Flywheel

***

Clutch Disc: F5ZZ 7550 A (ID: F4ZR 7550 DA) (Valeo) also used on T1 & T2 - Note: Diameter: 10-1/2" - 10 spline

Pressure Plate: F3ZZ 7563 A (ID: F3ZR 7563 BA) (Valeo) also used on T1, T2 & T3

Thrust Bearing: F7ZZ 7548 AA (ID: F7ZR 7548 AA - BCA 614014) also used on T1, T2 & T3

Pilot Bearing: D4DA 7600 A (ID: INA FC65174 or 65174) also used on T1, T2 & T3

Flywheel: E6ZZ 6375 A, M-6375-B302 (ID: RF-E1ZR6380-A2A, E6ZR/AA) also used on T1, T2 & T3 - Note: T3 was machined and balanced with Crankshaft and Balancer , if you replace the T3 flywheel again with a new one you will have to machine and balance it to your engine.

OK, new clutch kit in. The only reason I replaced the clutch kit is that pilot bearing was shot, so I thought if I am to remove the gear box, then it’s probably worth changing the clutch kit after just on 150,000klms. What I did notice, it still had the original clutch kit, after Dingo sent me the ID numbers I could match the serial numbers up to the original kit. Also whilst the gear box was off the motor, done the rear main seal, Flywheel machined as well as the speedo gear replaced. Running well, no issues, hopefully last another 150,000klms.

Cheers
