Default Again?!?

LuvinmyEB and I just got back from shopping, and discovered that both the EB and my 4 door Mk II Escort have been attacked.

The EB has a deep groove gouged down the center of the bonnet and "yore" (the dog must have gave them a fright from behind the fence) grooved just as deeply into the boot lid.

But they saved the worst for my beloved Escort.

Not one panel has been spared from at least one deep groove (most many more then one) engraved into it, even my rear spoiler has been attacked.

Either LuvinmyEB or I will put pictures up of the damage soon.

We're both just sitting, waiting for the police to arrive and prove once again how useless the police are around here. But at least this way we'll have a damage report.

Why my poor little car... : : :(

I'm just glad we were out in the Mk I, or else that would have been attacked too...

I suggest putting the cars behind the gates, and locking the dog with the cars, cause that just sucks, at least you don't have the sugar issue this time.

While I'd say surveilance camera's might be good and the dog might help.... Personally i'd say "get the hell out of there" would be the better choice. Its not easy moving, but if that was happening to my cars i'd either be in jail (after I found them) or leaving them to wallow in their own pathetic existance and moving to greener pastures.

Hope the cops get them tho.

Man thats gotta suck... at times it seems useless having a good car, as they all become the target of some type of abuse from low life scum.....They even break into brank spankin new BA's (my dads" and screw over a door handle and lots of paint work around it....

****en hell.
Do you know these people are?
Are they breaking in to your property to do the damage?

Is there any reason why they havent been 'fixed' up yet?

Thats pretty tough.

Are you on good terms with your neighbours / people in your street? Have you ****ed anyone off lately? Barking dog? Loud music? Burnouts? There must be a reason.

Make sure you go to the coppers.

Af'ngain! out:

All the cars are behind the gates with the dog who is so bloody agitated it's not funny.

Yes we know who these little f*(kers are, I even know what car they're driving around in at the moment. I know where they're hanging out right now.

Been to my solicitor and with 7 victim reports we'll be getting 'relocated' by the Victims of Crimes pretty soon. Doesn't fix the cars though. :yeees:

The Police just called, another two victims reports totalling $8100- are in the mail.

One broken toe so far from kicking my car.

How many broken heads tonight????

Who knows?, I think I'm more than a little sick of not being taken seriously by the cops now. out: :togo: <-- what they've just brought on themselves. :SaiyanSmi

I have a couple of phone calls to make. :Up_to_som

Yep, same scum, yes we have a restraining order, not worth the piece of paper it's printed on even though they were seen here at 3.30pm by my neighbours.

The Police wont look at surveilance footage, no point in wasting the money on the cameras. :

Do the Insurance crooks..............ahem....... sorry bout that...........companies , cover that sort of damage in legitimate circumstances. Can't you just pay the excess and then get the whole car fixed ?????????

I think this might be a legitimate claim scenario.........you should check, considering of course the fact that you have full comp cover and not just 3rd party.

Here in NSW the cops HAVE totake a report of breach AVO seriously, and that means arresting and charging the person.(been there, done that) If they don't they can be held accountable. A second breach of AVO means Bail is refused...

In other words, if the neighbour will make a statement, demand that the police act on the complaint.

Well obviously The Maddestman and I live in the wrong state, two people spotted them and the car, the Police do not give a SHIT! I asked for the police to come out, they wouldn't even do that.

It's times like this I wish I lived in the Northern Suburbs again, 3 police cars and fingerprints taken for someone attempting to take my number plates and he was caught!

I'd be really ****ed off with something like this and im sure you are, attacking cars is just pathetic, if you know who they are and where they hang out i'd be getting a few mates together and paying them some sort of visit (preferabbly with a wheel brace or something similar) take to them and their carsmake sure noonessee's u do anything and just deny it to the cops, im sure they'd take your word over theirs especially if you already have a restaining order on them

So if they are watching you pretend to go out and hide in the house and wait for them to enter your property. Then when you see them beat the absolute shit out them.
Scratch them the same way they scratched your car.

Well i certainly feel for you, its not something i care to remember all that often but when i was in the early years of high school i did something wrong (to this day im still not sure what it was, think it was that i didnt get ****ed every weekend like everyone else), and of course we copped it. Nothing ever got damaged or broken, but just the nuisance calls, shit getting chucked onto our roof - had someone poke holes all through a shirt of mine that was on our washing line. Stupid shit like that.

I solved it by leaving that school and going to a private one. meant a half hour bus trip to and from, but it was worth it.

If i were you, and it was practical, i'd move. I dont mean to insult you or suggest anything by saying this, but am i right in thinking at least one of you is out of work? If there's nothing tying you down to where you are (nothing that cant be broken anyway), why not move somewhere and, in a sense, start all over again. It sounds extreme i know, but sometimes it's the best thing you can do. Sounds like a pretty uphill battle you're fighting, it might be good reason to have a change of scenery.

I know our house will be up for sale soon when we start building our new one.(shameless plug) :hihi: .

I can't believe how many times I've read that these scums have done damage to you's. I don't know how you've put up with it. I personally would highly consider a move elsewhere. How much of this are you meant to put up with? Especially since the cops don't give a damm about helping out! If it's at all possible - just leave and find a new area.

Hmm well it sounds a bit odd when police dont take any action as far as breaches of AVOs are concerned. I've been to many malicious damages where the victim tells me who's responsible and I believe them. But when it comes time to charge the critters responsible, I need more than just believing the victim. I need proof and there is no better proof than 2 other people actually seeing the critters doing their deeds. If that fails, then use a camera. Most digital cameras have video features and that video or picture will tell a thousand words...Without that footage and/or a couple of witness statements I wouldn't expect police to do anything other than merely making a record of the incident. Saying that, I hope you either catch the grubs or move to a better neighbourhood.

Problem solved, decided it was time to buy my own house after we've been relocated (due to settlement, etc. Hopefully I can get a 30 or 60 day), nice big front fence, lock up garage and one hell of a security system. Thinking about fixing the last of the problems with the EB and selling it too. I did say 'thinking'. :P

Yes the Western suburbs have a bad rep, but I've lived here the majority of my life and I think it's ok, it just seems to be this little bunch of ferrals that are allowed to roam the streets because their mother is too busy with her male friends to care about what her kids are up to.

As for the AVO's I've lost count of the number of times they have been breached, including them being in my front yard. Seeing them with my own eyes and telling them I've called the Police, then it's me against them, somehow they always win.

So I'll be writing a few letters of complaint about the way the Police have handled this and the fact that I've been driven out of my home as a direct result of the inadequacy of the Police resources and their responses. I have a record of EVERY call I've made to them regarding these bastards.

But basically I'm throwing in the towel because of a 13 year old and a 16 year old and the powers that be who act powerless to stop them or even question their whereabouts at certain times.

I never thought I'd say this, but I think there should be a curfew for kids brought in, under 18's unless with a parent/guardian/someone responsible in the house by 10pm. Now that makes me feel old, but you wont find my 13 year old wandering or riding around the streets at 2am, if he's not home by the time I tell him to be home, he knows he will be in trouble.. BIG TIME!

Here's hoping nothing else happens, let the people that buy this house have the problems. Hopefully they'll even catch them.

By the way I've tried the waiting for them in the dark on a few occasions, and they've never turned up. I'll post the pics of the damage to the cars tomorrow, I get depressed looking at them right now. :(
