I didn't mind it - a little pretentious but got a giggle in a few places.

Irreverent and funny.
Apple has done nothing to help any business but their own.
I used to have a computer store, and both Micrsoft
and Intel were extremely helpful and supportive.
Here, Apple is for earth shoe wearing,
health food store people, who do not look healthy.

Every PC i've had has screwed up in some way.. this is my first mac.. the hard drives nearly full and it hasn't slowed down or screwed up once. I'm quite happy no longer being on first name basis with the guys at harvey norman computer tech bay and their store manager.

Every Mac I've seen has screwed up (They are known for their hardware problems).

Pre built PC's usually do screw up but that's not the PC's fault it's the idiot (commercial genius) that builds them.

Generic power supplies, RAM, cases with horrible air flow etc.
And you're meant to get your heatsinks cleaned out frequently.

A PC is made up of various components with each having various brands to pick from, there's crap brands and good brands.

You get what you pay for (unless it's a MAC lol).

If it wasn't for all the MAC Books I've seen fail (something like 6 out of 7) I'd consider one to record my instruments with.

Same here, my 3 have all been faultless, even my 5 year old G5 thats been on 24/7 for its whole life.... (and guess what it runs the latest version of OSX faultlessly, try running Vista on an unupgraded 5 year old windows box)

Then there is others that I know have been faultless as well, I won't bother detailing this as I would be here all night, but the only issue I can remember is when my remote for it stopped working, a trip to Apple store and was replaced under warrenty.

A Microsoft add turned to PC and Mac bashing in less than 1 page, that has to be a new record.

With Microsoft,
the quality of the components has a lot to do with its stability.
Also, digitally signed drivers (signed by Microsoft) are imperative.
The hardware drivers are tested by Microsoft to insure compatibility.
For instance, I had a computer business for 10 years.
I always used Genuine Intel boards, processors and NIC's.
They are warranted for 3 years by Intel.
They are engineered together, but more costly.
You get what you pay for.
Also, I was the ONLY "white box" builder in the states
to earn the "Designed for Windows" logos for the systems I built.
