I went to Crazy Clarks this morning, looking at their fishing rod repair kit, and happened to see a 9 piece tune up kit, for 14.99!

5 valve caps, one gear stick knob, three pedal covers! That's one great tune-up, for 15 bucks... with valve caps included!

Well my answer kinda defeats the purpose of them being removable...but consider Loctite.

Don't use loicktite, if you get any into the valve insert, it could mean probs. I have taken to fitting mine with a spanner, but I buy a couple of sets at a time. As you mentioned Dodge, there only a couple of bucks a set. Still makes me want to sit nearby with a Baseball Bat though ing_sm :jab: out:

Hmmm.....I had a set of those hexagon ones on the 17in wheels i had on my old car for a year and a half (until I sold the wheels), never had any of them nicked. I had that car parked in some pretty shady areas sometimes too. Weird.

Kids love bling bling, they're all into chrome bikes at the moment so they knock the valve covers off cars and put them on their bikes.

I think parents need to stop kids from watching The Fast and The Furious, next they'll have neons on their bikes. :

/me runs off to hide sons DVD's. :
