Sorry my bad, not stock at all. I can't wait to see it run. I am sure your times will not be crappy at all by the sounds of it and its a given you will have lots of fun. What's your PB?

Well Heathcote is the best place to bust your drag racing cherry. There will be plenty of people there to offer advice if you need it, like Craig, especially if it's a manual.

PM me if you have any questions.

Up to you guys?

Yift, you should definitely bring your XY then to get a baseline figure on what it's runs when it was stock. I would trailer it in though.
Sounds like a plan. Those two meeting points are good.. So as usual a list must be started for meeting points.

its not that hard to launch the xy the clutch is at its best wear point that you can easily get it off the line without wheelspin, im counting on 2 things to break on sunday the clutch and uni joints, we shall wait and see!

I done the uni on my last outing. That and the rest of the diff that is. The only thing to survive was the center. The axles, crown, pinion, ABS sensors and sensor rings, tail shaft, uni and U bolts. Ohh and the diff housing aswell. And it was only 2 weeks old!! Yep..Lunched. Sucked!!...but was so much fun doin it!! Learned a good (expensive) lesson though, Feed the clutch out, dont side step it. Well more than that but thats the long and the short of it anyway. Thanks to Craig (love ya work mate) for fixin it to while Im on a speal. Done a top job of lookin after me.

Cheers
Glenn

geez you copped it nicely! but being a b series its expected to break (no offence). i doubt the unis will let go but you dont know what can happen. the tailshaft i have is a phase 3 style one, big tube and unis and yoke and with the measely power of the six it may not be enough to break them. but you dont know!

Broadmeadows is a bit of a detour for me too, but I will still meet anyone there if they want, otherwise I can meet you at Keilor.

Forecast for Heathcote on Sunday is mostly sunny, top of 16 low of 6. Perfect drag racing weather. Just got to hope for a tailwind now. :eclipsee_

Home for a quick respite, so I should be able to make it! Due to go to Nizpro on Monday, so I'll probably be taking it easy (We'll see how that goes...lol).
It'll be good to catch up and put some names to faces at the very least.

It's only possible showers, if it's light showers they have a jet dryer to dry the track. It won't be open it it's ****ing down though.

I suggest that we see what the forecast for Heathcote is tomorrow, if its still the same we can meet at Kilmore and ring them then.

Don't judge by the Melbourne weather as I have left here while its raining and it's been dry as a bone at Heathcote. Worst thing that can happen is we have a nice cruise and we get there, grab some lunch and catch up with each other.

Anyone who wants my mobile number, send me a PM.

thanks Doug, the good news is the burns aren't too major so no skin grafts etc. Just feel sorry for him, he recently did two 6 month tours of Iraq in the army then gets injured like this in a boat explosion on his holiday.. seems unfair.

anyway were about is the meet place in kilmore?

That is good news then, must be a relief for you and your family.
Doesn't fate work in strange ways?

The meet place is Kilmore Memorial Park @ 8:45am

I am guessing it is the green bit on the map...
