Default MK2 escort front hubs

Hey does anyone know if the mk2 escorts front hubs are cast steel or billet/forged steel. Also is there any differance between the mk1 and mk2 front hubs (not struts). cheers

think the originals are cast but there are a few companies making billet ones... and i have mk2 struts and hubs in mine. so i dont think there is a huge difference?

I may be wrong but I thought a lot of threads etc went to metric sizes with the Mk2
