Just a brief explanation on why we have closed this thread. Simply put it wasn’t heading in the direction the author or club would have liked.

While the thread title (subsequently changed) might have suggested directional blame, we believe the context of the subject was just and understood by the subjects intended recipients, that being club members. We would ask that people be mindful that within club forums there are specifics that might not be fully appreciated by the greater, general population. That’s the reason why club specific forums exist. When participating in such discussion please be mindful and respectful regarding subject matter that might not be as cut and dry as first thought.

Some readers have correctly identified the situation as not normal. The author clearly stated a reference point in the local media regarding the situation and the negative fall out it created. The author also stated the police response. Neither are fabrications and they should have served as indicators that all isn’t as it seems.

Thankyou to the people who showed such consideration.
