And how much would it cost to turbo and engineer a normal block?

As far as power figures, with all the right combo CMS should see 220+ rwkw

I would rather NA with 200rwkw+ than a turbo or charged engine any day

Considering how stroked the motor is already, those pistons will be travelling at the speed of light now.

Yeah I'd like to see it to believe it.
Heres hoping he offers a 'higher' compression n/a version, and a low comp forged version. Also would be good if he would sell a short block so you can put a decent head/cam package on it.
Would like to know more about the engine though, it sounds interesting atleast.

pcman, not everyone wants an 8. Ive got an 8, but would happily get into a tough falcon n/a 6.
Planning on buying an AU XR6 next year and building it tough n/a for improved production track work, either that or saloon car series.
Still not sold on this stroker kit.

$7k won't build an impressive V8! try more around the $15-20k mark!

Have they built one yet ?
Has it made that power ?
or is it a case of , 'it should do it'
Would be pretty good, not may E series around making an honest 200+ rwkw.

This is what i was about to ask.
well ill be looking forward to someone building one of these soon then.

I dont know but i always thought stroking a motor that has been always been a decent stroke wouldnt do alot .
I know there is someone(ford mods guy) with a stroker kit that has got 198 at there own dyno day but thats about all .

Def looking forward to see if someone does this . Definatly shows there maybe more than 1 way to make power out of the motors in these things as this way i have not gone with my new bottom end

He is very secretive about it all too . Apparently you have to send the block up to him he does all work and you receive a motor all ready to go back in .
If you do open motor then warranty of any kind is void .

Why are you unsure about the figures Scott? Obviously these cars are not set up as yours was for 1/4 mile

ahhhhh his car is stroked! There was not alot of info around about that car - basically all I could find was it is a test mule that comes out to play on dyno days and it has a log manifold - not a bbm.... was wondering how it got to 198 as I was thinking ppl were getting high numbers these days with little work - thanks for the info

Although on the Dyno Day they had a Crescent 02/05/2010 it made
1) MRE-50L - EL - NA 6 - 185.5 RWKW

Doesn't sound like it revs that high.
Sounds like it makes a fair bit of torque.

Yeah I thought that as well with the rpm - Doesn't sound like it was pushed that hard on the dyno - maybe that's how it got to 198 with higher rpm

Get a vid of Scotts car up when it's next on the dyno

Correct me if I'm wrong, but this wasn't a 'stroker' in the truest sense of the word was it?
