Default Trivia: Mondeo's in FPS Battlefield 3

As the title says, looks like one of the devs (or more) that did FPS software Battlefield 3 must like the Mondy as the program is full of them in a section where the game takes you to Paris. Both as private & police cars with both Hatches & Wagons. Maybe the police in Paris do use them so the programmers were just trying to be a bit true to life?
Can't make out what model they're are though.

Took me by surprise when I saw them, had to stop & have a look, nearly got me killed!
