Default Headlight bulb upgrade - done!

Hi,

Just to let you guys know out there that it's worth upgrading your H7 dipped beam bulbs.

I thought the lights on my MA mondeo were pretty good but could probably do well with a upgrade. So i order from ebay a pair of osram night breaker plus (thought philips xtreme are excellent choice too but more expensive) from a UK ebayer for about $25 delivered...

Taking the light out was a bit tricky but with the help of the manual and the fordwiki i got it out, unclipped the back and put them in. Difference was noticeable straight away.

It is tricky putting the light cluster back in, but give yourself plenty of time and also tape up just below the light cluster on the bumper so you dont scratch it.

good luck!

Surprised you would need to remove the headlight clsuter.
Surely there is an access hatch on the back of the light ?

Sadly even the manual says you have to because it's too close to other components.

I've had a look at the battery and that looks even more tricky judging by that's installed.
