Default Can’t afford a Veyron? How about this nice Bugatti pen

Well, fear no longer! Bugatti has commissioned Italy’s Ferrari da Varese (no, the company has no ties with the rival supercar company from Maranello) to create this stunning bespoke pen, yours for the bargain price of AUD$16,232.00

The pen will join Bugatti’s prestigious $100,000 watch collection but unfortunately will be limited to 499 units to ensure exclusivity.

The bespoke Bugatti Type A pen is constructed from aluminum and plated in nickel, then sterling silver, then palladium and finally platinum. Other details include a rhodium-coated 18kt gold tip, a sapphire glass window and a black embossed Bugatti logo.

I can't understand why anyone would buy a $16k pen, even if they were filthy rich. Should just get one with the Veyron as a gift.

I hope nobody buys that pen, give the money to the Haiti victims instead, and buy a BIC pen instead.

Isn't the Bugatti perfume $10,000 a bottle too? They were spraying it all over the studio on Top Gear in like season 11 or something

The way that I lose pens I'd need to up my biro budget to around 3.2 million per year if I substituted my Bics for a Bugatti.

Cool

On the last pic you can admire the upholstery Now you'll be able to stroke the leather even in your office.
And I wonder if the case has side curtain airbags too?

I do that anyway!

I like a good pen, I've got a couple of expensive parker pens at home. Never use them though.

But yeah, 16g for a pen. Jebus.

Looks like it would be horrible to write with and run out of ink pretty quick too. But thats not the point of a Pen worth 16g's anyway.

I'm happy with my Waterman Pen. It serves me well, looks nice and doesn't cost more then both my cars combined.

Hahahaha, not the sort of thing you'd whip out at your local Woolies to sign for the groceries.

But seems appropriate, and in proportion to signing that contract for the new 100 million dollar super yacht.....

I wonder if Bugatti dealers are like Ford Dealers?

"Yeah I'll buy the car, but will you toss in a free branded pen? ", .oh, I see, judging by the huff and look, thats a NO. huh :togo:

Just put this into perspective, assuming all the pens are sold at their asking price, that means $8,099,768 for Bugatti. They can't be that hard up for cash, can they?

Somewhere in the world there is a guy on a pen forum discussing the Veyron proclaiming I hope nobody buys that car, give the money to the Haiti victims instead, and buy a BMW car instead.

Probably not but it's not a bad way to make $8,098,000 profit...

haha...brilliant.

I get my pens from my local car garage. Great pens. Last me over a year each and write beautifully. Not fancy, but gets the job done.

I go through a pen every 2 weeks or so.. so that makes.. a lot of money spent on Bugatti pens.

Perfect for signing important contracts with...

Estate Agent: "Well sir, just sign here, here and initial here"

scribble scribble scribble

Estate Agent:"Congratulations Sir, and here are the keys to your hollow volcano. Planning renovations?"

Customer: "Hmm, yes I thought I might build a base and take over the world"

Estate Agent: "Very good, Sir. By the way.. nice pen!"

Customer: "Thanks. I'll let YOU live".
