I was hoping it was going to be something I could do in forscan but that doesn't seem to be the case.

Yes, it is definetly available to anyone including DIYers. facebook.com/testerPresent

Heres a Visual Studio Solution of JasonACTS program. I am unsure why the repo was deleted. and I have put this up without his permission, if he asks me I will have to take it down.

I have started hearing of people swapping the Mk1 colour screen into Mk2s.

Tech Writer: Recognition for the technical writers of AFF - Issue reason: Outstanding work on the FG ICC issues. Technical Contributor: For members who share their technical expertise. - Issue reason: The insane amount of work he has put into the Falcon FG ICC is unbelievable. He has shared everything he has done and made a great deal of it available to us all. He has definitely helped a great deal of us with no personal gains to himself.

M8, you can do whatever you want with it all, but don't put words in my mouth.

That goes for anyone using it commercially, and wanting to restrict distribution.

I made no such request.

is this on the bench? you might find that security access requests will fail unless the FDIM receives the right CAN messages from the rest of the car. at very least I think you just need to send 0x406 byte 2 set to higher than 0x05 (I think). Or you can try it to a module in the car. That message is just ignition on.

edit: here are some scripts that may help https://github.com/jakka351/FG-Falco...esources/Tools
specifically this one called "wake_fdim.sh" https://github.com/jakka351/FG-Falco...s/wake_fdim.sh
JasonACT's arduino sketch with my handy dandy comments for the thick: https://github.com/jakka351/FG-Falco...s/CAN_test.ino

Explanation of how to set the FDIM display to be either Single Zone or Dual Zone.

There is a memory.location accessible via Diagnostic service 0x22 readDataByCommonId in the mark 1 and 2 Colour FDIMs located at 0xE205 that can be set to 0 for No AC, 2 for Single Zone or 3 for Dual Zone. Writing to the memory location can be done via service 0x2E and doesn't require security access.
