Default Highclere Kart trail day. Saturday 26th May

Hi Guys,

Our next club event is for a Kart trial day at Highclere karting track in Burnie on Saturday the 26th of May.

The Club has been offered to hire the track out from 9.30am till 4pm. The Karting club will supply karts, helmets and safety gear. The cost will be $500 for the day.
This cost will be broken down to the members. (I.e. if we have 10 members its $50 each or 25 members its $25 each.)
The club will also be providing a BBQ lunch with soft drink.
There will be ample time for members to have more than one run. Club members are welcome to bring along friends, but first precedence will be given to members. There will also be a junior kart available

For more details check out the run sheet on the clubs website run sheet

Hi Mike, I was talking to Tim last night and he said it was still on even if raining. We did the kart day last year in the rain and was great fun. Will be good to meet ya finally.

Cheers Corey

Should be good even if it rains. Seeing as I can't bring my XR I wonder if they'll let my Lancer out on the track - it's similar size and engine power!!!

Pretty good here at the moment, a little overcast and around 12deg. Looking like it's going to turn out fairly well.
Camera's charged and memory cards are empty, see you all out there.

It was indeed a very enjoyable day. Even more so when you get a kart that works the way it should The day ran nice and smooth, hopefully all those that came along enjoyed themselves. Karl you will have to post up some images for everyone to view.

Was an enjoyable day, even with a bad dose of the flu.
Maybe i could use that as excuse for poor lap times
Was good to see so many there too

C'mon Andrew, a good driver will overcome them things!
How many seconds were between mine and your lap times? About 2sec?

Was a fantastic day though. I'm glad it was dry.
