Default Polish hoon finds car in tree

http://news.ninemsn.com.au/mobile/ar...8465312&ref=nf

Members of a Polish village tormented by a hoon driver have taken revenge by hoisting the young man's hotted-up car onto the top of a tree.

Unlicenced street racer Zbigniew Filo, 24, had enraged residents of Lubczyna for months by speeding around in his white Ford Escort, making noise and putting locals' lives at risk with his thrill-seeking antics, the Mirror reports.

A police spokesman said they received a call from a man who said his car was stuck in a tree and his neighbours had put it there.

"After inspecting the site we instructed him to remove it from the tree," he added.

No one has claimed responsibility for the prank but one villager said another man's mobile crane had been borrowed the night before the car was relocated.

A neighbour said he supported the vigilante justice because Mr Filo was a reckless driver and could have killed someone.

"Perhaps he'll think twice about his hair-raising driving and about getting a licence or who knows where his next car might end up?"

Mr Filo took said he got the message but added "it was a bit harsh".

There's always one person who throws out a comment to stir up trouble isn't there. As for the picture, hilarious.

Very funny... But I don't support vigilante actions... Imagine if that car fell down and killed someone... Who is responsible? If it was such a big issue like they are making it out to be, cops should have just waited on the road for him...

Makes you wonder what the cops get up to there as well. Obviously they seemingly did nothing despite villagers having an issue, and also decided the young hoon could go get his on car down as well. Makes you wonder if they just do the crosswords all day by the tone of their response?

Funny, but the person who pulled the "prank" probably needs to be punched in the face for ruining a car and a tree instead of sorting it out like an adult. And is that Escort even capable of speeding?!

The cops there probably go out and fight real crime, instead of wasting time and public money on dedicated highway patrol units and a network of mobile speed cameras.

Almost as deplorable as someone putting a bunch of big thick four inch construction nails jammed behind all four tyres on a sloping driveway of, say, a VL Commodore that for weeks had been speeding up and down local streets, doing burnouts at intersections swinging the car round in circles as neighbours just hope it doesn't catch traction and spear through their bedroom wall at 2am, and other idiotic antics in narrow suburban streets...and greeting every complaint with a threat of violence. This was before "hoon laws" too, so the cops would just turn up and chat him.

...not that I'd know anything about that...

In Australia you would be jailed for damaging the tree and ordered to buy the hoon a newer faster louder car.

They were talking about this on the radio today. (4BC)
Apparently the car has since fallen out of the tree and landed on it's roof, crushing it ! (ouch)
Police still haven't charged anyone as neighbours have all gone into silence about who did it.

The shame of being a so called "street racer", when your car is a totally rubbish late 80's Ford Escort that wouldn't pull the skin off a custard.
