Here BlueOval.

A S5 V8 here in Tas. Less than 100Klms, just over 30 K if you didn't like what I'm looking at above ; )

Very keen on this (20K) Put interest in - $1500 pro delivery but that's ok as Perth to Hobart.

Manual (a must for a Boxster imo) and love the colour combo. 60thou K's with history.

Old now but cool imo.

Let's see I guess.

2002-2004 F-250 RM/RN XLT with a big pair of 300L LPG tanks in the back tray stacked one atop of each other to block off the rear window, I wouldn't turn down a 7.3L Powerstroke engine neither.

You won't sell me any modern car with those cheap and flimsy plastic interiors even if I won the lottery I wouldn't buy one because I simply don't believe in cars you can't repair yourself. The act of repairing stuff yourself is so ingrained in me I'd rather not own a car at all.

Surely these won’t get much cheaper than this. I feel like one of these could be a cool weekender and if kept in great condition would probably only increase in value from here. Would be too scared of it turning into a money pit if used as a daily though.

V10 M5 would indeed be epic...

Another for me would be a B7 Audi RS4. Same V8 as the First R8 and are a great drive and mostly Manuals....

Mercury, I agree a Boxter in theory is good value. But google IMS bearing and thank me later.

Cheap Boxster awaiting offer approval. Immaculate, log books.

Tiptronic which I prefer as the early engines have no power plus I already have a fast car so it's just for touring. I used to love manuals but no left leg crap a bonus in traffic a bonus.

Nice cruiser in great condition (very high K's but log book)

Given up on sports cars etc as I just like nice cars.

Finally found a black on black 2010 Alfa 159 Ti with very low K's and log book.

Offer in place. Yet to hear. Was quick to reply earlier, now stalling......

I still think one of the best looking sedans on the market (always loved Alfa look). Sure slow etc but who cares as I already have a fast car.and this a rare manual. (not exact car in image)

Been looking V8 VW Touaregs for about the 40k mark of late. Older ones of course. Got a reasonable reputation from what Ive read. Not all are like that though, but would definitely consider one of the R-Lines if I had the coin to spend right now.

A 2010 C63 for under $40K

Or a 135i Coupe plus plenty left over for a couple of bigger turbos, exhaust and tune.

White can be pretty stark and boring but not all.

BMW's look good in white particularly if offset with black accents.

In fact I've seen many white cars that look great if presented right.

Plus so easy to keep looking clean.

The BMW 135i's look pretty inviting. I didnt realize how affordable they are with the power they have. 6cyl twin turbo power in a little 2 door got me salivating (225kw/400Nm). Plus I love the 'bulldog' looking front of the E82 models.

Some of the reviews are saying they are excellently balanced.

A comprehensive article on the reliability of those cars and what to expect to fix is here:

Perfectly balanced, the steering feel is fantastic and a pleasure to drive through the twisty bits.

The inline 6 makes itself known when the turbos have spooled up.

Nicely sorted when it comes to getting their power to the ground.

Brembos all round with 6 piston calipers up front and they really respond well to mods.

A bargain if you want a small secondhand coupe.

That's basically a great little affordable weekend weapon with some euro cred. Ive seen some of the 135i (non M Sport) models going for under 30k with lowish km. The 2012-2013 models still look the goods. Not sure what the differences are comparing the E88 to the F20 models though, is it just a face lift?

The one in the photo is an M Sport.
The prices when they were new vary greatly as the performance models could be optioned with a lot of BMW factory bits and pieces over the standard delivery.
The one in the photo has factory fitted piano black kidney grilles, carbon fibre mirrors and lip spoiler, upgraded audio/SatNav, brushed aluminum pedals to name a few.
Look for a 2009/2010 M Sport with options as they won't cost any more than the standard delivery cars and they are only around the $30K mark.

The E88 was a 2 door convertible, the F20 a 5 door hatch.

(2004 – 2013) RWD

E81 = 3 door hatchback
E87 = 5 door hatchback
E82 = 2 door coupe
E88 = 2 door convertible

The E82 coupe & E88 convertible were available in the 135i sports versions and the coupe as the 1M.

135i – 225kW/400Nm engine N54 B30 – 3 litre inline 6 cylinder with twin turbos (2007 – 2010)
135i – 225kW/400Nm engine N55 B30M0 – 3 litre inline 6 cylinder with single twin scroll turbo (2010 – 2013)
135is – 240kW/430Nm engine N55 B30M0 – 3 litre inline 6 cylinder with single scroll turbo (2013)
1M Coupe – 250kW/450Nm engine N54 B30TO – 3 litre inline 6 cylinder with twin turbos (2011 – 2012)

(The N54 outputs 300kW/540Nm in some BMW applications)
(BMW changed from the N54 to the N55 to improve throttle response, low torque, exhaust emissions and fuel consumption and it outputs 332kW & 680Nm in some BMW applications)
(The N54 cars were either 6 speed manual or 6 speed auto)
(The N55 cars were either 6 speed manual or 7 speed dual clutch)

(2011 – 2019) RWD or optional AWD

F20 = 5 door hatchback
F21 = 3 door hatchback

There are two sports versions and both are available in 3 or 5 door hatch:

M135i – 235kW/450Nm engine N55 – 3 litre inline 6 cylinder with a single twin scroll turbo (2012 – 2015)
M135i – 240kW/450Nm engine N55 – 3 litre inline 6 cylinder with a single twin scroll turbo (2015 – 2019)
M140i – 250kW/500Nm engine B58 – 3 litre inline 6 cylinder with a single twin scroll turbo (2016 – 2019)

(The B58 outputs 285kW/500Nm in some BMW applications and the high performance version – S58 outputs 375kW/600Nm)
(The transmission options were a 6 speed manual or 8 speed auto)

All these cars respond well to modifications and because they were released around the world, there are many factory and aftermarket go fast and handling options available along with rims and body kits.

F20 = 5 door hatchback
F21 = 3 door hatchback

All these cars respond well to modifications and because they were released around the world, there are many factory and aftermarket go fast and handling options available along with rims and body kits.

.
Appreciate that information. Thats really handy to read that and know the differences. Good to learn something new.

Looks like you can't really go wrong but its better to know the differences when it come to paying so you are paying for the right model.
