Seems its very much like the Sian/Bugatti gearbox wise. Well it feels like it anyway.

Make sure you google the correct alignment for the gearbox, there's an error in the instructions on these

Not sure if online manuals are updated, but FYI here's a couple of videos summarising several issues:

And another one.

Finished off the Fezza last night. Bit of a let down. Doors are very flimsy, had to reconnect parts above the headlights numerous times and the B pillar isn't connected to the car so when you open the door it moves all over the place.
One bit I do like is the rear bumper, it's a work of art. But I missed a cpl parts on the diffuser which I read after, are missed in the instructions, so will fit tonight. I feel lego has really tried to push the limits of what lego can actually do with the body work and it shows IMO
So Imo it's the worst of all four 1:8 cars, so for me they rank best to worst in order of release. Cat also showing her disapproval

Im not sure, ill have to have a look for ya.
The Volvos arent lego kits, they are designed by people with more talent than me, i just purchased their instructions from rebrickable.com
That mack towing the Volvo is the best i could do with limited knowledge/proper spares to create something that looks like a real truck (mack titan)

Great pics! I have only built my Porsche so far, so I am keen to get into the others when I can find the time. I would LOVE to see a GT40 or Ford GT version of a car like these.

I made mine RHD when I built the orange GT3. But only after making it LHD and getting half way through and thinking, “wonder if I can make it RHD?”. And I did.

Whats folks thoughts on non genuine lego kits?
https://www.toybricklighting.com/col...l-powered-toys
Some of the kits on here, they'd cost an absolute motza with genuine lego, not to mention headache trying to source all the parts. Those and TLG looks like they'd never even consider big sets like some of these.
Ive been procrastinating for months about pulling the pin on one of em
A lot of coin with both but they'd be an epic build/centre piece i reckon.

The crane would be fun but it's about AUD $1.5k

When you get it let us all know what the instructions are like please

A fair while back now, I collected a nice pile of the big solid wheels that are on the big original chassis set 853, with the intention of building a crane or prime mover. The models you've put pix up there DJM 83 are something that I'd like to try one day. Thanks for sharing.

So I finally got around to finishing this set. If anyone has a lazy $850 and wants to give this a go, you need to brace yourself for it. Nearly all the pieces are small and the repetition is high.

But the end result is pretty awesome!
