I would say no as they had the different power steer pump, I would say you would need one from BA to FGX..

GT,
I've been trying to find out what the part number of the Supply Tank Hose that goes to the radiator, whether it's still available and do you have an image of it?

Reason I ask is mine needs replacement.

I checked Mackay Rubber and they list a completey different hose that shows a straight hose with a upward bend on both ends.

The hose in my vehicle has only one bend.

Vehicle in question
AU2 6 cylinder year 2000.

Thanks

Hey Bondy,

I guess your talking about the large hose that goes from under the resevoir to the radiator, not one of the other two skinnier hoses.

If it is then I only have a pic from the catalogue,it has a part number of ER8A365AMC. May be able to source you one, but would need to confirm.

Let me know if you want me to chase.

Howdy GTL. I'm after a set of 4 pot rear Brembo calipers (from the Premium brake package) to suit an FG, including the mounting brackets and lines if possible. I've seen a couple of sets floating around but I didn't act quick enough or can't drive halfway across the country to pick them up. If figure if anyone can find them, you're the man.

Thanks,
Ben

Hey Ben,

New or used?

I am sure the rear bracket is part of the caliper and bolts straight to the rear hub.

I think the Brembo 4 pot Caliper is a generic unit with a Brembo-branded, alloy-coloured adapter bracket to suit the rear knuckle assembly. I could be wrong, but I’m pretty confident the Caliper is red and the bracket is a silver colour.

I’d prefer new, but 2nd hand would be ok if new isn’t an option. I can dig up some part numbers tomorrow if it helps.

Thanks mate,
Ben
EDIT: Yes, the bracket is part of the assembly and is usually included with the Ford part number. I’ll get it to you asap.

Hey Ben,

I can get the Genuine Ford Brembo Rear calipers for FG for around $1100 each side plus postage.

From what I can tell, there is nothing else you need as they come with the brake line and pads, that is unless you need mounting bolts as the bracket is part of the caliper.

Let me know if you want me to source.

Hi GT,

Just a query on a SZII Territory Titanium 2016.
Are the indicator lenses/clear cover on the LH side mirror available to purchase separately ?

or do you have to purchase the whole mirror assembly ?

Hey mate,

Well originally you could buy the lens seperately (part number 9R7Z13B383BA) how ever that part has become obsolete and you have to buy the whole mirror assembly. Would need to confirm exactly, but the mirror assembly is around the $400 mark. If you want me to chase one for you with a definte price, let me know.

Cheers,
GT

I’m chasing a couple of parts for a 2013 Ford Falcon FG MK2.

Windscreen washer bottle

Power steering hose

I’m wondering if GTLEGEND still has access to parts and what the cost of both would be to ship to WA.

Windscreen washer bottle is obsolete, I would need to see if I can track one down.

As for the power steering hose, you need to be a bit more specific, return or supply hose, what sort of Falcon is it, 2.0,4.0 or 5.0. A VIN would help but not essential if you can provide specific information. There are a few variations.

Would this one fit my Falcon? By the looks of it, it would but I noticed the part is listed as “Ute”.

Hi again mate, it’s a 4.0 L Falcon FG MK2 XR6 and it’s the pressure hose which I understand to be the pricey one. I have called the local Ford dealership here in Rockingham and they have said there is no availability showing and they will need to contact their distributor up in Welshpool near Perth.

Do you have any availability of this part?

Sedan and ute have the same bottle, how ever FG1 is different to FG2 and FGX (the later 2 are the same) so if it is an FG1 style it wont fit your car being an FG2.
